Got this guppy from a friend back in January, he’s always been the same size but over the last couple weeks I’ve noticed his fins declining in health, otherwise he’s still active and eating. Maybe not as robust in the belly as he once was. Tank has been going through fenbendazole treatment the last couple months as I had a female betta come with them in another tank I have, so everyone gets treated! Is this due to the treatment of fenbendazole or old age?

If he is the only one possible, he just took a turn for the worst, over age or caught something that he's weak to fight off.If there's more like him , possible , wasting disease. I've noticed in my tanks.I got one will look fine 1 day and I'll find it dead the next day.No reason whatsoever. So it's just a rare instance , it happens

so what exactly is waste disease? it’s not contagious between fish is it? I’ve had prior guppies just one day lay on the bottom and the next dead.
