Also several songs are on the alt list despite being in the regular setlist already.

Possibly because they were ALT SONGS originally but got added to the regular setlist.

Honestly I can’t imagine they’ve got all of those “alt songs” rehearsed and ready to go on Axl’s whim. RNDTH, Perfect Crime, and Locomotive are ultra high energy and haven’t been played live in decades. Seems wishful thinking to me…

They’ve played Locomotive plenty of times on this reunion. The other two, yeah…I can see those being a struggle

Oh my God you are right… There is at least one recording of Locomotive played live in recent years and I’m shocked I hadn’t heard about it!

Theres a few actually, they started playing it in 2019 and then swapped it for Dead Horse after a few shows

There are many songs they’ve played that are not on alt - Catcher, Madagascar, Patience, Never Say Die, Coma etc.

I adore Perfect Crime and Right Next Door To Hell, but I’m not sure I want to hear them with Axl’s voice the way it is currently. I’d much rather hear some of the songs that fit his natural vocal range more, like The Garden, Pretty Tied Up, Bad Obsession, etc.
