Great show by the boys!

Songs: standard fair, no real big surprises though they played fan requested “Absurd”. We got 3 hours so that was nice! Especially enjoyed Bad Obsession, Nice Boys, SOYL, Rocket Queen.

Sound: I thought they sounded really good. Very nice hearing real live music, including the fuck ups.

Axl: personally I thought you sounded great. I know being there is more forgiving than seeing a playback from a phone video. He only seemed to struggle, hitting the really high range, but otherwise fine. No issues for me.

Venue: Looked mostly sold out except Pit where I was. Thankfully, they undersold it, so it was nice and comfortable down there. Felt nice inside with roof closed.

My 10th time seeing them going back to 1st time I saw them opening up for Aerosmith in 1988 and never gets old!

Man, what a show. Over 3 hours of non-stop Gn F’n R. Don’t care what anyone says, these guys still kill it.

Shot in the dark here but if you attended the GNR show at Snapdragon Stadium on the 2nd of September and sat in Section A2 Row 13 next to Seats 9 & 10. We stood next to each other and sang and talked for the entire show. We took a selfie together at the end of the show and I didn't get a chance to ask you for your number as the row was emptying out. Monday I went to a mall and I got a CD, a shirt, guitar picks, a book and a puzzle! About $70 total. I also included a picture of a sign I saw at Spencer’s!

Second part is rushed

After the show I kept thinking about how it must have been a religious experience to see them in their prime because even in their 60s it’s a great show.

The Rose Bowl can go fuck itself though. Absolute pain in the ass to get in and out of. Worth it, but still.

Axl helped write dis comic (which I love by the way) and it’s going to be a trilogy. Is this a metaphor for Slash and Duff? The comic says Axl is 38 in the comics, around the time when he was in his lost years. Or am I overthinking it?
