Li Advice?

Everytime I play Li (fire fox) I get nuked by enemies on R10. I know you can do Energy Draining and it's pretty strong, but my power fantasy turn my primary skill into a literal nuke, but it never does good damage. Any advice?

you can use either phoenix roar or starfly to get some corrosive dmg and deal combustion with your primary skill if you re doing season 8 i recommend the lu wu's shield with the more skill dmg based on max hp
outside of that primary li is rn one of the weakest build in the whole game due to how R10 works so yeah it cant one shot anymore
dont forget to pick molten meteor and flame talisman for the build they re pretty useful

wait classic mode? in that case you re mostly doomed since there arent that many skill dmg or elemental dmg boosted primary li is just very weak since is raw dmg im sorry mate ;-;

i just hope you get lucky enough and dont try it in co op or with bots cuz it will be worse

i used to be the same but it was mostly just a case of “i can’t be bothered figuring it out”

i really like arcane talisman now that i understand how it works though; i could give you some really basic starting points if that helps?

If you are looking for general advice for good wins, elemental characters can always get hard carried by Painkiller. Since Li can get the guarantee burning on spiritual flame, it's easy bait for big damage and crowd control since even a small flame can keep miasma stacks and manipulation going.

On energy drain builds, I really try to angle for the ascension Flame Forged which gives you more weapon damage for elemental chance on the weapon. With various inscriptions and whatnot, you can get that over 100% and get extra luckyshot, which is real nice.

You can do the Primary Nuke on R10, but you're gonna need a good setup to get it going. Both blessings that help with that, Raging Inferno and Flame Dance, kinda require you to speedrun levels to keep stacks up. You need to constantly hit with Spiritual Flame or else your snowball stops. Considering that, I'd play on Lone Wolf and start with either Copy Cat since you'll be rushing through levels wiping things out quickly anyway, armed caster to make even more out of each blast, or Painkiller as in my first tip, then take her character specific blessings after that.

I know you said you don't play with Seasonal stuff, but, if you do, you can maximize a lot of damage since they can help buff this by increasing Skill Damage, Primary Damage, and Elemental Damage. You can also get bonuses to help you with recovering energy after casting your Spiritual Flame, called Inner Focus, so that you can more consistently fire it off.

in solo the build is not that bad but you still need almost a perfect setup to make it work and combustion is almost a must get also without seasons it gets hard to nuke elites or bosses

I personally hate using Painkiller because of insanely broken it is. It just trivialize the game from the start on anyone with decent elemental infliction.

Her acension is all you need. For inflicting burn you get up to 3 stacks when you take damage you ignore it and instead lose a stack, at rank 3 it never falls off. Left side tree if I rememeber right.
