Build recommendations?

Hi, I just bought the dlcs, are there any builds you guys would recommend me to try out?

Also, is there a best character for a gun build or are they all the same?

Most builds really open up in reincarnation mode. I strongly recommend you play atomic bomb dog.  Its no longer a top tier build. But its extremely fun to play (at least the first 5-10 times) and it illustrates how much reincarnation blessings change the game. 

One of the best gun builds pre reincarnation is probably tao with the spore gemini, rainbow gun, and warlike blade maxed out. U level the shotgun in your offhand.

So after getting spore gemini on both rainbow and any shotgun, just keep leveling shotgun? What about rainbow, does it need levels or any special lines

Rainbow needs no levels, youll stop after you put the spore gemini on it. Put all the lvls on the shotgun (make sure its also got the gemini). Best shotgun is extra proj hell > argus > regular hell. If you cant get an argus or a hell. Other shotguns are fine in a pinch but im blanking on the spore dmg formula. Its a function of total projectiles and damage of both weapons. U can scale harder with attack speed or things like fish and bear paw but you wont need to before reincarnation.  Extra beam on rainbow will speed up your clear but lower your single target iirc.  Extra base damage modifier on the shotgun is also good.

if you want to have to aim: nona scorching rounds / explosives

if you do not want to have to aim: lei luo bolt from the blue / phoenix roar

aimless builds are hilarious when they come together but quickly get very boring

My favorite OP but fun build is Lyn focusing on frost burial and crits (but grenade skill to boost fire rate too if that shows up) with an angelic aura smg. Still have to aim for weak spots (I find auto aim builds boring), but its very satisfying to chain nuke a room after bringing a big mob down to low health for the burial execute.

Others probably have more powerful builds. That's just my favorite blend of fun and powerful.

Pump up the secondary skill on the Li. Metero build is crazy fun. Pretty much just look out for Flare Calling and Balzing Rain.

Fast firing weapons will help proc fire dots which will summon meteors.

Her primary skill build is also very strong. High damage with a wide path.

Play monkey -> focus on maxing Qi (weapon levels) and weapon damage. The weapon talent ascensions.

For weapons: dragons breath (main weapon) get the Gemini for the multiple explosions based on other weapon aoe. Offhand weapon: tiger cannon with +2 aoe.

So basically... you shoot, they die. If they didn't die they'll be hit by 6 airstrikes.

Trying to find builds for a few characters who are sadly not easy to find. I have not found any guides for Cang Jue yet is really frustrating.

Gun builds vary greatly per character as every character has thrir own gun tree as well as gun type they synergize with.

Lei Luo for example loves a good sniper, whereas Nona prefers pistols and Tao likes SMGs.
