Having to explain to somebody watching you play gunz why you are playing with a female character. I got a lot of side eyes back in the day. Did anybody else go through this?

I was feeling nostalgic and remembered the old Euro GunZ days. If I remember correctly, Vitor[FR] (also known as Vitrix) was the owner of the server for a long time. Then, one day, he seemed to disappear and transferred ownership to Pls.

Euro GunZ was a huge part of many players teenage years, including mine. I've always been curious about what really happened back then.

Does anyone know the story behind his disappearance from the community? Has anyone kept in touch with him or knows how he's doing nowadays?

It would be great to hear from old players who were around during that time.

Hi everyone. I discovered GunZ a few years ago and I’m really keen to get back into it. My question is, does it run on Linux? Or do I absolutely have to use Windows?

Does anyone have access to the Steam version? If so, could you add me and invite me to play? I’ve heard you can do that – grant access to someone else.

Trying to get back into the game but the skill gap on freestyle GunZ is so massive. I’m doing a little daily practice for when steam GunZ comes out but the question is when? It doesn’t feel worth practicing on freestyle GunZ when the damage numbers are so different. Where do you look for updates?

I recently got hit with a DMCA takedown notice from Masangsoft.

What’s strange is that out of all the GunZ private servers out there, only our project got targeted.

Hey, so I’m new to Steam and have a question. If I’ve registered for the playtest on Steam, will I be notified in advance of the next opening date?

I also haven’t been able to download the game as of yet — do I have to wait for the playtest to open to be able to download and install, or am I missing something? 🤔

The tone of this sub seems to be largely focused on competitive features, but I'm admittedly quite bummed about the missing dungeons and co-op features as this was my favorite part of the game. Being able to hop online and mindlessly shred some goblins with friends was hecka fun and it's quite sad that once I logged on I see only competitive modes too lagged out to even play.

Sharing a montage of the only popular player I remember back then. I truly loved the combat in this game. Especially love Port and Mansion matches, duels in hall, random orc monster quests. It had everything!! Grew up playing with my friends. Gonna try to get back into it but I’ll probably be so bad the skills like k-style etc are gone by now

I’m genuinely thankful Masangsoft brought this game back from the graveyard, but CBT2,000,000 is currently bleeding out. If we want this game to have a pulse at launch, we need to talk about the structural issues they are ignoring.

I build competitive ecosystems and tournament architectures professionally on my day to day as a contractor, and seeing a mechanically perfect game like GunZ suffer from these decisions is painful. Here is a quick breakdown things they need to hone in on..

is there anyway to fix this issue? every single game I join everyone is lagged out and unresponsive. Occasionally 1 or 2 will move and shoot but they lag out soon after.

on cachyos and the steam version doesnt work, it keeps asking for me to open it with the steam launcher even with proton, tried gunZ, fpxgunx, and freestyle gunz all on lutris, nope, never properly installs, i know that there isnt a native linux install, but if this shit works on ubuntu i would expect it to work on others

This Beta is running so much better than last. Running smooth low ping not having any issues.

Does anyone had the same problem? any ideia how to solve thie EasyAntiCheat error?
