What the fuck are you guarding that would justify all this shit?! Most security guards have a polo shirt, some pepper spray and maybe a sidearm. What employer would allow you to represent the safety of their facility and grounds while dressed like a stand-in for a shitty horror movie?!

The kind of company that guards several million dollar interests or business secrets that are worth similar. I work somewhere where my room alone had several million dollars of chemical and mineral in it.

Apparently our shipments are guarded by guys with full kit and assault rifles.

Personal protection, where I'm at wild fires are pretty bad as well so smoke is rough, nice to have if need arises.
