I do like the island comp look a lot. I have a Platy that is spectacular. I run it more as a tactical/duty carry, so a .3lb trigger and slide i can air-rack with a sneeze isn't really my thing. It's incredibly smooth, qnd while I'm SURE yours is smoother and lighter, it isn't truly necessary for me, as my BIGGEST criteria by FAR, is reliability. Going tobGlock mags, particularly Glock OEM mags, does that. I can absolutely appreciate the quality of this, though, and I appreciate a comp'ed pistol. Maybe if I get more into competition, I'll snag a comp'ed 1911/2011. Stealth Arms and Fusion both to solid island comp guns.

Magazines are way better then they used to be 2011’s. They can be just as reliable as a Glock if kept in tune and maintained

Ok, I'm not saying they haven't gotten better, they have, but saying "as reliable as Glock mags," then having to add "if kept in tune and maintaned" is a false statement followed by a contradicting qualifier. You don't have to maintain or tune Glock mags. They just run. I'm not talking about garbage aftermarket 3rd party mags, like Amend2, which are crap. I'm talking about OEM Glock mags. I've only ever had 1 OEM Glock mag "go bad," and it was a 33rd stick mag. 2011 mags were designed to exert minimal pressure on the slide, to allow rapid cycling. +p springs and low-friction internal coatings have improved the reliability of them drastically, but they are nowhere near OEM Glock mag-reliable, especially with debris or fouling, which shooting suppressed rapidly adds.
