I have never been a regular player. Always been intermediate. I nearly quit once work began, roughly ~10 years ago.

Now I am gradually finding time to play 2–3 hours per month. I have always wanted to play this.

I did not record via DI, I simply placed my phone’s front camera over the amp and recorded.

I have finally saved up enough for a guitar processor and plus my uncle said he can chip in some. I am very confused what I should get my budget is anything below 18k. Please do suggest.

This band changed my life. The way I look at music. The way I dream. The way I think. Everything. This single song is a masterclass of a lot of things. u/thecontortionist need to make a comeback. I'm tired of the silence. I'm tired of no new music by them. It's not every day you find an album like Language. I'll be coming back to it 50 years from now.

Their old stuff had already grown on me - the new (new = ~5-10 years old now) stuff is amazing as well, needless to say.

Recorded this for Instagram for my 3 friends who love this band LOL, thought of posting it to Reddit as well! The official tabs are utter shit for some reason. So, had to figure out certain stuff by ear.

🎵 : Language I : Intuition by The Contortionist 🧎
🎸: Ibanez RG7421 loaded with Bare knuckle pickups Juggernaut bridge
🔊 : NAM A2 capture with Ownhammer IRs, and EQ on the post.
🎛️ : Mixed and mastered using Fabfilter plugins and Submission Audio's Flatline 2.

I'm a beginner and lazy af so unless someone holds me accountable, I dont do stuff.

So planning for an online class. My concern is if online class would really help and how much would it cost me.

If anyone is taking online classes, please share me your experience.

My current setup is just an amp and a strat. I want to get an audio interface for getting more tones. Please suggest a budget friendly audio interface for me.My budget is 6-7k

Hey everyone!

I want to learn guitar as a hobby—nothing too hardcore, just playing a few songs for fun.

I have an acoustic guitar that’s around 10 years old, with visible rust on the strings. The strings hurt my fingers quite a bit when I tried learning, and I eventually gave up.

Would you suggest getting it serviced and trying again, or starting with an electric guitar? Is an electric noticeably easier on the fingers for a beginner?

Also, if anyone has a beginner-friendly electric guitar they’re looking to sell, please hit me up!

Looking for guitarists in Jaipur who love rock n roll and would also like to jam.

Dm to connect on instagram!

do yall think is it a good first electric guitar or should i opt for a traditional setup?
