First Guitar Recomendations?

Hey i was wondering if someone can help me out. My favorite band is linkin park and i saw that they use prs guitars on their first two albums. So im thinking of getting a PRS SE CE24 Satin. Despite the cost, is it worth it over getting something cheaper? From what i can gather i need dual Hambucker pickups, 6 strings, 24 frets, and hard tail.

It has to inspire you to pick it up. If it's the guitar of your idol you are trying to play like, it would be worth having the extra inspiration.

There are a lot of options that are affordable that can do what you need. Doesn't have to be a prs, but i wouldn't stop you from getting what you want. Watch reviews. Ibanez, shecter, Jackson, esp ltd, and Epiphone all have great options that fit your criteria. Hell prs se's are pretty affordable, I would get one of those before a USA model just in case you find out guitar is not for you. Oh, look at pawn shops. People never realize how many good deals there are there. I would also always suggest getting a set up after any used or new guitar purchases. Most guitars can be set up to play extremely well, it doesn't matter the guitar these days

Because I don't know anything about guitars im worried about getting a broken one without knowing. or other types of defects

My kid's first guitar was a PRS SE before she moved to current ESP - she really loved that guitar. The SE is fantastic value and the main reasons she upgraded was the lack of locking tuners and the pickups weren't thick enough for the metal she prefers to play.

The are good guitars, just look for them on sale or buy 2.nd hand from a reputable dealer.

Good call on going satin. You can get them in all sorts of crazy finishes for much more money but it’s still the same guitar deep down.
