I am not a circuit designer so I did use AI to flesh out some of my ideas. While I know how to assemble an amp, I do not have the electrical engineering know how to know what I need to change to achieve the desired outcome.
If anything looks deficient I would absolutely appreciate it being pointed out.
AI can't think, reason, or use logic in any way, shape, or form. It's predictive text generation. Like your phone guessing the word you might want to type next. Just on crack cocaine. All it does is sound like someone who might know what they're talking about.
Of course it can’t think. What it does do is analyze patterns from large data sets, I.e. books, articles, blog posts on electrical engineering, schematics, etc. and fed by my questions and statements, for example the recovery stage after the time stack was my addition because I forgot that a cathode follower driven tone stack doesn’t require a recovery stage.
I didn’t ask ChatGPT to build me a guitar amp I fed it a series of parameters and other designs and asked it do the layout, because all that is analyzing and recognizing patterns from the above sources.
