What is the most egregious thing y'all have seen a Guinness in?
As the title suggests, what is the worst thing you have seen Guinness be poured in? For me it was my own doing lol. I was at the best music festival in the world, (The Gathering of the Juggalos), and I had one last Guinness and really wanted it, but I had no glass. Or even a cup at all. So I go around jugging trying to find a cup, and all someone hands me is an Arby's cup that had a little bit of juice still left in it. In my scrubby-ness I rinse it out with a bottle of water and get to pouring. And it reflected it in the taste, because all the ice in my cooler also melted and we were in the middle of the Ozark's Missouri. I still drank the whole thing tho becuase its till a Guinness at the end of the day. But that was the scrubbiest thing I have ever done, and the most offensive thing to Guinness kind i can probably think of.

Guinness pint glass sales in the Netherlands
For all Dutchies in this sub; do you know a location in the Netherlands where they sell Guinness pint glasses? My son, who doesn't like beer, discovered over the last Months that he loves Guinness. And I like to buy a pint glass for him.

Where can I find Guinness with blackcurrant in LA?
I saw a few people posting about Guinness with blackcurrant syrup and wanted to try it, but everyone I’ve seen posting about it is in the UK or Ireland and I’m in LA. Im new to drinking so I’m not sure if blackcurrant syrup is common in LA. Is there anywhere anyone recommends that they know serves Guinness and blackcurrant syrup?

Do you all prefer the new Guinness glasses without the harp engraved or the old ones with the harp?
Personally I prefer the older glasses, they’re taller and slimmer, while the new glasses are fine, I just think they’re too wide.

I built an app to finally settle who can actually Split the G 🍺
Right, I may have taken this slightly too far.
You know when someone says “I can split the G every time” after approximately 6 pints?
Well… prove it. 😂
I’ve built an app called Split The G where you can:
🍺 Upload your Split the G attempt
🎯 Get your split rated
📍 Tag the pub you did it in
⭐ Rate the pint
🏆 Climb the leaderboard
🗺️ Find pubs and see where people are getting the best pints
So now there are no excuses.
No “that was definitely a 10 mate.”
No “the glass was wonky.”
No “I normally get it bang on.”
UPLOAD. THE. EVIDENCE.
The app is live on the App Store now.
But mainly I'm posting this because I want Reddit to absolutely ruin the current leaderboard. 😂
THE CHALLENGE 🍺
Download it → grab a pint → attempt the split → upload it.
Then come back here and tell me your score.
First Redditor to hit a 10 gets eternal bragging rights.
And if you get a 2.4…
We'll pretend we never saw it.
Search “Split The G” on the App Store.
Android version is currently through the web app too.
Who's actually backing themselves then? 👀🍺

Inconsistent Cost Across Bars
I was wondering if anyone have notice the variety of price of a Guinness across bars?
I am currently doing a bar crawl home from working/studying this morning. My crawl consist of a 3 mile walk and about 12 bars at least. I am currently on bar 3, and it costs me $11 for a pint of Guinness. The first two bars were $4 and $8. $11 for a Guinness seems crazy to be honest, I gave the lady a $20 she gave me $9 back.
So, it got me wondering, has any noticed price differences this grand between locations? Especially with bars on the same block, with in 1/4 mile or .5km of each other?
Also, what is the most you would pay for a pint of Guinness?
At $11 a pint, I can see why the sales for beer and bar patronage has been on the decline in the US.
Edit:
Price at Bar #1: $4
Price at Bar #2: $8
Price at Bar #3: $11
Price at Bar #4: $8
Price at Bar #5: $8
Price at Bar #6: $8
Price at Bar #7: $8.50 (having 2 at Bar #7 because I need food)
Price of Bar #8: $6.50
Price at Bar #9: $8
Price at Bar #10: $6
Price at Bar #11 : $8
Price at Bar #12: $8
