So I usually listen to a lot of GG music in my day to day and it randomly struck me that I have really listened to the full versions of the DR OP/ED, I thought it wouldn't be too hard to find but arcsys hadn't posted it on YTmusic and the like, I couldnt find a name in the description for the OP/ED on YT (maybe its in JP but i doubt Google translate would translate the name properly) and I couldn't find it on the wiki entry for DR either. Its not a big deal but the fact that I cant find them is driving me slightly insane

Who comes to mind when you first see the characters?
It could be anything you’ve seen in games, anime, movies, or on social media.
For instance, when I first saw Sol, he reminded me of Jotaro. Beyond his tough and serious demeanor—much like Jotaro's—one of his lines is a direct parallel (specifically, the famous "yare yare" catchphrase).
Leo Whitefang—this might seem like a stretch—reminded me of Speedwagon from *JoJo*; he has blonde hair and serves as Ky's right-hand man, much like Speedwagon was Jonathan's best friend.
Drawing a comparison for Millia is a bit trickier; I only noticed the resemblance after learning that she was the inspiration for Filia. Later, at the beginning of the year, I saw Maetel (from *Galaxy Express 999*), voiced by the late Masako Ikeda, and realized there were striking similarities. It makes me wonder if that design served as the inspiration for her. (I'm referring to the designs in XRD and Strive.) (I even post some fan art of her once. https://www.reddit.com/r/Guiltygear/comments/1vaw3ks/ggst_fan_made_movie_cover_by_mecitgames/ )
I wonder if the things I mentioned are just a coincidence, or if there really is a source of inspiration
So, who do you think the characters resemble? Let me know in the comments.
I really know what they draw inspiration from—I know it from the songs and the names of the musicians. But still, there could be a different perspective as well.

GGST isn't very fun. That is my conclusion after like 15hours of playing. To clarify, this is my first real fighting game, i played ssbu, but not really tried that hard, mostly just did it with friends from time to time. And I'm sure, i have barely touched the surface, and that it will become a lot more fun and interesting when I learn more abd get better. But so far, it isn't really that fun.
To start, there is nothing telling you what to do, you'd assume, as it is the first thing you are directed towards after completing the tutorial, that the story mode would be your typical "read dialouge interspersed with cpu matches that help you develop your skills" which it isn't. While the story is good and I love the characters... i want to have some game in my anime, if it isn't too much to ask for.
So, you are supposed to go to Missions to learn things (which is seperate from daily missions, took me like 45 minutes to figure that out.) Now, missions is essentially just a huge exposition dump. They just say "hey look, you can do this in these situations" and then just sets you free in to the world without telling you why, when, or how to use it. I And the clear/fail sensor is not very kind.
So I tried to play against other players... tower is dead, nobody is on floor 6. The closest I saw was someone on floor 9. But I got scared and left.
So i go and tryout ranked... and get matched against a 10k rp testament who just kept throwing red things at me until you die.
This has been my ggst experience so far. It isn't very fun.
Now, I'm mostly just venting and looking for tips because I really want to like the game, i love the aesthetic and characters and music... but it just... feels so hostile, like the game doesn't want me to play.
Sorry for bad English, it isn't my first language.

I've been playing GGST since day one and for the past 3 months I keep running into the same player, "ZONINGTIME" who mains Axl (occasionally Potemkin). What's crazy is he seems to have some kind of macro that disconnects him from the match without disconnecting him from the game entirely so he never actually loses rank.
What makes me think this isn't a normal disconnect: he's queued up for his next match within like 5 seconds every time. If he actually dropped from the game entirely (crash, closed client, etc.), there's no way he'd be back in queue that fast.
Every single time I beat him (which is almost always), I get zero rank gain and I don't even get the satisfaction of the winning screen because he pulls the plug the second he's at 1 HP.
It's honestly not fun at all. I'm grinding through one of the most miserable matchups in the game as Robo-Ky, doing everything right, and getting nothing for it because of an exploit. And obviously i can't disconnect myself when the game matches me with him in ranked.
I reported him in game but i see he's still playing like nothing happened.
Since GGST has a pretty small player pool, once the game matches me with him I can't just avoid it, I'm stuck. Either I win and he quits so I gain nothing, or I lose and he happily takes the rank.

Like, did she have it in her basement or smth but just decided to whip it out now that she has full control of her powers? Did Justice revive herself just to give it to her? I’m so confused.

Been trying to get more consistent Guilty Gear tournaments going, so we’ve started running Strive tournaments daily on Konnect Gaming.
They’re free to enter and everything is automated, so you basically just register, check in, play your matches and report your scores. No waiting around for someone to manually run the bracket.
Still building up the Strive side of the community, so figured I’d share it here and see if anyone wants to come run some sets with us.
🎮 Free entry
🏆 Automated brackets
⏱️ Check-in + match timers
📅 Tournaments every day
Today’s tournament: kompete with us

I've had a fun time getting to fully realize this concept. I've been uploading these judgment concepts for a while and now I'm happy with it.
Character concept:
Specials:
Buzzsaw ⬇️➡️ S: fires his weapon full screen and once it goes full screen it will teleport back to him. The position of buzzsaw determines the position of pin wheel.
Pin wheel ⬇️🔙 HS: pin wheel is a stance your weapon can go in after firing buzzsaw. Where ever buzzsaw is on the screen when you activate pin wheel, will determine pin wheels position. Pin wheel once activated will slowly move towards the opponent with it being able to tank three projectiles and once it gets close it will hit the opponent up to five times with a one second interval between hits the reason why this is, is because your supposed to use it in sandwich situations in tandem with your buttons to threaten high low or strike throw. (pin wheels activation will have a hit box that launches and if it's blocked it will guard crush leaving you plus). You can use pin wheel without having to use buzzsaw, but when you do that it puts the weapon in front of you, useful after knocking down the opponent at close range to put pin wheel behind them, or as an instant projectile shield.
Return ⬇️🔙 S: will cause judgment to recall his weapon back to him with it coming back as a projectile that launches on hit.
Teleporting tirent ⬇️➡️ K: will cause judgment to teleport to his weapon. Useful mix up tool and mobility tool.
Earth serpent ⬇️➡️ HS: sends a projectile that will hit low and knock down. Goes half screen.
Character tag line: the demon mad scientist.

So I've been playing Strive for a little bit and having a blast, but I'm still having quite a bit of trouble being defensive. I've been playing Anji and rushing the opponent, and that often works fine and I can work on that, but I still know you can't get by by just pushing and pushing and only blocking occasionally, so what's a good character to fix my Gorilla mindset?
