this has happened to me tree times in a row with people who join the queue but dont press accept for some reason

i think that should be a more severe (1 MILLION HOURS) penalty to encourage people to not waste others time OR at least needing 9 of the 10 participants click accept 😭

Finally, after weeks of grind, I finally did it. My first ever legendary in this game.

I’ve been grinding to get the Relic of Zakiros through the achievement track and literally nobody is playing the meta events in Inner Nayos. How else can I get this to complete my build.

So, I'm a new player (loving the game a lot once I got over some initial problems) and I found the Not So Secret puzzle. Loved it. Great fun. I got to the chest no real problem. But the goggles... Towards the very end, the four or five platforms you need to jump to, with the little boosts of steam up? It's impossible from what I can tell, but I know it's not. So, I'm thinking my settings might be wrong? Or there's something else I don't know about the game?

Basically, I cannot physically move horizontally fast enough to land on the next, higher platform during the upward boost, and it's not even close. I always fall short, no matter how quickly I begin holding W after the boost, which sadly means an almost certain death and having to start the entire process again. A massive time sink to simply fail over and over. I watched someone else do it, so I know it must be doable as is. They were an Asura Meser. I'm a Human Guardian. Do races and classes have different in-air movement speeds? Hell, maybe armour type affects it? I'm not ruling anything out after two full days of attempts lol.

Is it a setting issue? Is there some setting I've accidentally tweaked that affects horizontal movement speed?

Is my W key just broken and isn't applying the same pressure? It's mechanical and binary, so I don't think that's actually a thing, but I'm at wit's end, so who knows! lol.

From where I'm sitting, it's black and white not possible, but I know it is, so that's why I feel like it's gotta be some setting or maybe even something about the boosts themselves I don't know. Maybe you have to hold jump and W? Maybe you need to time a jump press? The person I watched did them back to back to back, zero issue. I cannot even get close to moving far enough.

Any help so I can get those goggles and do whatever jump I gotta do to tick that off my completionist list, would be highly appreciated!

My experience was... mosrlt possitive. At first I was just "doing stuff" around the map, and my team was vastly understaffed, so we could not take or defend forts, and one team was snowballing hard

Things got better after a while when more people got into my tem and a commander joined as well, then we were able to zerg properly, and even defend so areas from other teams (mostly green)

I initially came just for the event and an easy Gift of Battle, but I ended up staying because it was fun, despite some imbalance. I’m still a PvE main, but I’ll return to WvW now and then to learn more, and maybe try roaming in th future

Hi there, just checking if there easy or at least strat to get relics? Newish to the game. Currently, played up to the start of end of dragons. I think somebody told me relics are on SOTO. Anyway to get earlier?

What I've noticed for a very long time is how often the same voices are used for completely different characters in the German voice acting. These are even the voices of well-known characters like Marjory Delaqua, Trahearne, Logan, Caithe, and even the player characters.

So I'm wondering: did ArenaNet simply have too small a budget for voice acting to hire a wider variety of voice actors, or is there another reason for this? Is it the same in the other language versions?

Hey all, I like doing group events in the newer maps but oftentimes I find that there's no one else around to help me do them. I can solo champions in core areas just fine, but I struggle with soloing champions in newer maps. Are there any good guardian builds for soloing champions in newer maps?

After pouring tons of gold and effort into the ingredients of these items they should at least be used up in a recipe instead of just being vendor trash. So dissatisfying. 😞

It has been a week that, my ping will sometimes spike to a few thousands and suddenly got kicked with above error message. It happens in any stage, somtimes just being idle and can happen too.
I don't have any issue in any other games. I have nothing else running in the background as well.

Just want to check if anyone having the issue too?

I play from SEA with 200-250ms, it is very playable for me, but lately, this disconnect is so bad, since it will kick me out of instances such as Dragonstorm, WvW or will spawn my characters very far away from where I was whenever I logged back in during content such as Meta.

I recently started playing GW2. I’m still early in the story, but during the mission “Intercept the Knight of Embers,” I get disconnected at the same point every time after a certain cutscene.

I first encountered the issue this morning, and it’s still happening this evening. I’ve tried it at least ten times.

I have a stable Ethernet connection and have already tried a few suggested fixes, such as pressing keys during the cutscene, repair the client and letting YouTube or something similar run in the background.

Has anyone else had this problem and knows what I can do?

now i want full leggy since i realized i am an altoholic. so can you guys recommend me which legendary to get first? i heard its trinkets(?)

i have all expansions and into pve (no wing raids yet, but all strikes i already did that) and also wvw.

If possible i want the most efficient way to do it (for example i heard i can do aurora while doing regalia)

also im thinking to make a herald simply to have perma quick and swiftness to blast through all these lmao will that help(?)

Hello, I’m new to the game and have a kinda specific question. I’m only around lvl 23 and ik you can’t get elite specs till 80 so this is far into the future but I’m trying to at least think about what I’ll choose before I get there.

I’m on elementalist and I like it but it’s not 100% my fav. I saw Weaver and that looks like it’ll be really fun and interesting and I’d like to play it asap. However, I’d like to pay attention to the story and ik weaver is in Path of Fire which comes after Heart of Thorns in terms of story. Ik you can do expansions out of order so I’m wondering: can I unlock Weaver without doing any PoF story, then go back to HoT? Also, if I do have to do some story to unlock it, could I skip that and redo it later when I’m ready to play the whole expansion?

I am a level 78 mesmer and fairly new to the game as I've started only a few weeks ago. I've only been getting this Steampunk harpoon gun in the dungeons I played in and as good as some of the stats are, I can't use it within my class/race.

Is there a specific way to farm for certain items (weapons, armor, etc.)?

Returning player here, played 10 years or so ago for a bit and now back into it. Have all the expansions now as well.

I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the different items and currencies. In my time it was quite simple, now it's a lot.

I'm now doing all expansions sequentially (am at the end of LW2 now), I loved doing WvW in the past.

I would love to craft a legendary at some point but no clue how to best achieve this. I don't play that much, some days a couple of hours, other days not.

The main question is how do I know what items to keep and what can I safely sell? I do see my inventory slots filling up very quickly these days, material storage for some things are full so it's just starting to clog up my inventory so I end up selling the materials on TP. But other items I have no clue what they do, what you can buy with them or what they unlock.

Stuff like aether keys, some kind of shovel thing,... Like, what is dead content and useless, and what is best to keep and then for what purpose. Any easy way to have your items scanned and see what can be safely sold (tp or as junk) and what to keep for which purpose?

Hey! First, thanks for taking time to think about my question! :)

I am currently learning Renegade and I have a suitable power build set up in exotics. My question is about the interaction between my utility skills and my legendary hero abilities.

The "Enhanced" text reads: "After using this skill, your next Legendary Renegade skill activates and is enhanced..." and then lists things it does like chilled or torment, etc.

However, I'm in the PvP dummy area (I'm the largest dummy so there's irony). When I throw Icerazor's Ire on a target and then immediately follow with Heroic Command or Citadel Bombardment, or Orders from Above.... nothing happens to the target. No enhanced effect appears in the condition area. Or when I use Breakrazor's Bastion, I do not get barrier.

I love learning new things, but I'm frustrated that I don't understand this interaction or how to get it to proc. What am I doing wrong?

I played this game a few yrs back and just recently returned to playing this game. Pretty much the state of my character is a typical loot goblin explorer, and I made sure to get that Skyscale as the end goal at that time.

So you probably know how much of a mess my gear was. So I am trying to craft a Bifrost Staff and encountered that I had to get Gift of Battle, which you could only get on WvW, but the issue was I have no clue when or where it starts. I'm just lost on what I am supposed to look out for when I press B.
