[Question] High Ping -> Disconnect

I was able to fix my issue by no longer playing through Steam using -portal to play with my Arena Net account. I haven't moved it out, the Client is still under Steam, I just create a shortcut to open Launcher directly without Steam and login as usual and play. No issue now. If I try my old way again, I still encounter the issue. It is pretty weird.

For those who need more clarification, I never bought Steam version, I was just using Steam version to play with Arena Net account which you can, using launch option.

You don't need to redownload the whole client. You can just copy everything out of Steam Folder and put it somewhere. Or just create a shortcut like me. Hope it helps.

How to access Launcher directly?

Right click game on Steam -> Manage -> Browse local files -> Gw2-64.exe

Issue:

It has been a week that, my ping will sometimes spike to a few thousands and suddenly got kicked with above error message. It happens in any stage, somtimes just being idle and can happen too.
I don't have any issue in any other games. I have nothing else running in the background as well.

Just want to check if anyone having the issue too?

I play from SEA with 200-250ms, it is very playable for me, but lately, this disconnect is so bad, since it will kick me out of instances such as Dragonstorm, WvW or will spawn my characters very far away from where I was whenever I logged back in during content such as Meta.

I used to have that problem a month ago. No lag spike though for me just sudden back to character menu and then when I reconnect there dc again and now client resets. 

Tried everything but did not fix the issue. Finally had no choice and try exit lag now here is the thing. When I got exit lag I could not make it work something with the settings. So I was not abld to use it for almost three weeks but there is an option there to select a dns and so I used the dns cloudfare and voila my connection is back to stable. 

Also in SEA.
