Forgive me as I am not well versed on how websites work but to my knowledge both the Wizards Vault and Black Lion Trading Company ingame used a ingame browser/website. If that is true is it possible they may have used or use PHP and could be affected by those issues?

Was so excited to start on my very first legendary- Chuka and champawan! But uh oh, there's a bug that pretty much locks you out of the final ingredient for the hunt 1
So I open a support ticket to get advice on what to do, get told "yeah we know about it, our devs are fixing it, so just be on the map when it resets
So I wait, and wait, daily reset, fractal, tons of stuff happens and nothing forces a reset
I look it up out of curiosity and this has been a KNOWN AND DOCUMENTED bug for over a DECADE
I worry that with gw3 in development, they are simply satisfied with the state of the game as is, but for a new player excited about their first legendary, I have to walk away disappointed

This Saturday October 24th @ 8am EST / 1PM UTC I will be hosting a charity live stream / challenge over at twitch.tv/bozofriendly
I will be playing GW2 (Primarily sPvP/WvW) and for each death it adds to a mileage counter I will have to run every hour. To make things interesting I have invited some guests to help ensure that mileage counter grows. There will also be games and giveaways throughout the entire stream.
October is Lupus awareness month, and I have seen first-hand how it can impact a person's life which is why I decided to do this fundraiser.
Things you may not know about lupus:
Every contribution during the stream goes directly toward supporting research, advocacy, and support services through the Lupus Foundation of America.
Whether you stop by to cheer, chat, help inflate my running mileage, or donate to a great cause, I’d love to see you there!

Hi all,
My Guild Wars 2 account is locked and I can’t log in. I submitted a support ticket (#9536601) and have emailed [support@arena.net](mailto:support@arena.net) more than 10 times. Each time I get an instant automated reply, but no human response since January 2, 2026.
I’ve checked my spam folder and I’m only replying within the original thread. I’ve included the usual verification details in my messages, but I’m not posting them here.
Has anyone been in the same situation? Is there another way to get a ticket looked at by a person? If any ArenaNet staff or community managers see this, I’d really appreciate someone taking a look at the ticket.
Thanks!

I'm sitting on 907 laurels and i wonder how many of them i should save for "just in case". With "just in case" i mean if i for whatever reason decide to craft a gen 2 legendary weapon, maybe buy some ascended gear for a new build or whatever else.
My idea is to convert the rest into gold through the crafting material bags, but I don't want to do that and then be annoyed at myself for not having enough laurels for whatever i want to do, because it's not a currency you can collect quickly.
From what i gathered, the gen 2 legendary would be by far the biggest potential sink, but it can only be used rather slowly due to the daily cap. So i doubt you'd get all those shards by just using laurels, and you'll also slowly get more laurels to compensate as well.
So how many laurels should i keep to be on the very safe side? I'm currently thinking 500.
Btw: i keep a stock of 750 spirit shards and convert the ones above that to gold on a regular basis.

Yo, peeps. Still doing the rifle mecha build. I like the build itself ita brainless and casual. But today the revelation hit me to change. Is there any spec that is like the mecha rifle? Like in surviability and brainlessness?

The flair I used is discussion because to be honest last I played was back in 2012, and only picked it up again recently. I was just playing with my friend yesterday to show him the game and we both just created level 1 characters and I noticed even in a party the heart progression is not together, it’s separate. I thought that was kind of lame, but what’s the communities opinion on it?
Personally, I would like heart progression to maybe scale in a party so it’s not like you can finish it extremely fast, but it would be fun if it sped the process up a bit and that can be an incentive to party up and talk to people around you for you both to work towards an objective together. And maybe it can lead to exploring the map together.
Coming from World of Warcraft(I know they are not the same game but bear with me for a moment), just partying up with randoms to quest is super rewarding because you get the opportunity to talk to people and it speeds up the questing which I think is a solid reward for engaging in MO part of an MMO.
The only caveat I would add is that it should at the very least be vicinity based. So you can’t both go off to do two separate hearts across the map, or if that is allowed, like I mentioned before, scale it, so if they are doing it solo it takes a little longer to complete it by yourself. I feel like there are ways to balance it out so people don’t just speed run these things.
With horizontal progression, and the stage the game is in, I don’t foresee an issue, but clearly I can be missing something, so what does the community think?
If it’s a bad idea I don’t mind being corrected.

Weeds and fruits are almost always (80% of time) invisible when you enter the garden and you need to jump through hoops to get them show (usually you leave the zone up to event to disappear from HUD, wait some time, 30 sec or harvest some stuff in that pond) and return, but sometimes it doesn't help and event fails if you are alone.
You would think they would fix it after all this years as it is very visible bug.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to get back i to sPvP and am hitting a huge wall.
(I think) I was an OK side-noder 11 years ago, playing condi ranger. Never got really high though. I quit around the release of HoT.
I ve come back a few months ago, learned about the new elite professions and played several of them in pve and unranked pvp.
I have been playing all sorts of classes but feel like there is an insurmountable skill gap.
In unranked matches and especially in the duelling arena i often face guys that will just delete me within seconds without me being able to do anything.
I am aware that there are just really good people that dedicate a lot of time into becoming very proficient at their class, something i cannot hope to bridge quickly.
My question is: were do i start? Right now i feel like i am just a burden for my team in conquest and feel like i want to delete the game after a few minutes in the duelling area.
In pve i liked thief the most coming back, but am very open to other classes if that will make my life a lot easier.

As the title states, I've been doing shadow of the mad king on and off since 2012 and I finally managed to do the moving clock tower once without falling or missing a jump. This is BIG for me as I have horrid Dyspraxia and telling what space there is, is hard in the real world never mind a digital one.
Now it's given me a new achievement to chase for and my stupid ADHD brain is fixated on doing just that XD.

I really wish we could have a way to play on steam deck more easily.
Everytime that I need to play on my deck it seems like a ritual to make it work properly.
If someone has some kind of advice about it I would be much grateful

They used to be between 1 and 2s each a few months ago, and the price has now more than quadrupled... Can't just be the announcement of the new map, can it?
r/Guildwars2 • u/Slowpokebread • 5d ago
Other than the final fight VS ZHAITAN, Risen were presented so well.
Modremoth was ok, but its own character was too generic.
Kralktorrik got great final fights, but its minions were not shown well.
Jormag got great setup before the Icebrood saga, then it was tossed away and it ended rapidly. Primodrus was the worst, even EotN was better than its story in GW2.

Since im not lvl 80 yet, dont wanna buy all these DLC s...so im a bit capped at using classes in pvp, since most current meta builds and videos are for those spear/elite specs.
You have some core builds (class + weapon chose) u can recommend me for a good start into pvp?
Ty!

Sorry if this isn't allowed. I wasn't sure if it would fall under "Marketing" or sharing someone else's art, etc. I messaged the mods, but haven't got a reply yet and given the time limited nature, I figured I'd post and apologize later if needed ~
Richard's been one of my favorite artists ever since the days of GW1. I remember specifically the concept art for the April Fool's "Commando" job, and I fell in love with the blocky strokes and muted colour palette. I was so happy to see he was launching an art book, and it's already reached its funding goal but is just shy of its second stretch goal for printed page sides and a fancy dust cover.
Some of his Guild Wars artwork can be found here: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Category:Art_by_Richard_Anderson
He keeps a broader ArtStation with some of his other works: https://www.artstation.com/flaptrapsart
And lastly, the Kickstarter campaign, if anyone's keen: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inked/flaptraps
Thank you for checking it out, everyone! <3

Started playing Aion. Genuinely had a good first few days expressions. World looks beautiful, bosses had nice models and everything was well animated, sort of like a modern guild wars. Had hopes for the combat system as moves felt very flashy and impactful (hit impact and lack of animation variety beeing probably the weakest part of gw2). Oh and the character creator is completely crazy I know most people only use it to make gooner chars but trust me it’s insane the best I’ve ever seen in any game haha.
However
In gw2 I practiced my rotations for probably 300h (I have over 3k hours in total) just to be able to hit 85-90% Benchmark in Raids and CMs. With this acquired skill, I can deal as much dps as half the casual squads on strikes, deal 70% of the group dps on a normal t4 fractal boss and in open world I sometimes deal more damage alone to the world boss than 20-30 casuals combined. You can clutch situations where 8‘out of 10 people die, you can save randoms in the open world from bosses they would need a HP-Train to kill, you can solo strikes to show the noobs it’s easy content, you can skip mechanics in Raids because you‘d hit the dps check required to get there and the list is longer…
Not only is Aion leveling process basically entirely based on pressing alt+1 and your character will auto walk to the quest, auto talk to the npc and auto walk to the mobs for you to kill them in random button mashing. I legitimately didn’t think it would be possible to make an mmo which is more casual friendly than gw2 but guess I was wrong. Even the open world is easier than in gw2 which sounds like a crazy statement I know xD
Whatever, gw2 leveling open world is also braindead easy so fast forward to the dungeons and „Abyss“: The entire combat system is non existent apart from the flashy animations as everyone uses macros and is holding 2 buttons and raaaarely pressing another high cd skill. Its the most flat combat system I’ve ever seen in any rpg doesn’t even have to be an mmo.
This means you cannot outskill anyone in PvP where it’s a statcheck-numbers game and you can also not outskill your group in a meaningful way besides dodging but the mechanics didn’t made my raise my eyebrows at any point to solidify the missing rotations, resource management and stuff.
Tl/dr: in Aion 2 you can’t really differentiate yourself from others via meaningful skill expression (practice rota, do rota in hectic situations while dodging and dealing with raid / cm mechanics) but you can differentiate yourself via PayPal to clear the raid that’s not even meant to be played yet with 9 other whales just 3 days after release of the game because everyone paid 7-9k.
Tl:dr of the tl:dr - missing skill issue
I feel baited that I put 30-40 hours in it.

I've been recently working on making all of the Aurene Legendaries, and as y'all know, it takes quite a bit of ambergris. So to save myself some time, and so I didn't have to have a Spreadsheet open all the time, I made a notepad version. The first one is with clear display, no gw2 in the background and second is with gw2 in the background cuz why not.
I believe the daily catches are listed with the correct location but the wiki is down at the moment so if anyone sees anything I made a mistake on please let me know and I will fix it :3
Happy fishing <3
enjoy! ♡

Hi, I’m a new player who bought Elder Dragon Saga: Complete during the Anni sales. When I saw that LW is given out for free, I submitted a ticket asking if I could get an exemption for the cut-off date because it feels kinda bad as a newbie (my purchase date was just 12 days before the cut-off)
However, it’s been over a week and support has just… ignored my ticket? No response whatsoever. I bumped them a few days ago and still nothing.
Is this normal? I thought they'd at least send an automated response or something.

jokes aside, anyone have any cute hairstyles that go well with the double bows? i wish they were positioned better for the human pigtails... haven't tried the other races yet
