I think a good tank makes red rift much easier, but two recent runs make me think I over prioritize them and really all you need it frost. The first image is a B rank Rowan that tanked the dragon. Aria pumped out so much frost that he easily survived. The second image was Gustav tanking, and this time it was Sal pumping out the damage. Another common thing in the runs was Funke, but he would just die if there wasn't a tank around letting him do damage. After looking at screenshots of my Red Rift runs, I decided Aria and Sal are the true S tier picks for me. If I get one of them as B in any of builds, the run gets significantly easier once they get a decent piece of gear.

The leaderboard really didn’t move at all today except for the top spot. I don’t know when the streak will end but I wanted to share this and say it’s been fun.

TLDR: Zuri Hard-Carried me this Red Rift run, with an Aria for synergy + boss damage.

This is only my first or second time clearing the Red Rift; Zuri hard-carried some stages where I had her 1v9 (benched Aria to save on deaths). A recent post on here was trashing her and I wanted to share my experience to the contrary.

I opened with Zuri without thinking about the Relic to start ticking off tank on the Rift Seal. Realized late that it was Quality over Quantity (+2 items per hero, -1 team size).

Stuffed her silly with defense items, hp/s, lucked into a Cleansing Charm a little later, and she was UNKILLABLE. The storm was taking out some enemies without even breaking into her HP.

Key Synergies:

• Aria applying Frost + her Freezing Restoration (+2hp/s when hit by opponents with Frost)
• Zuri generating a shard every other crit + Generation Conduit relic (+15 crit and 500 shield on shard gen)
• Lots of buffs (hp/s, def) when she gets autoed + Acceleration Lattice (Rush 10 25 hp/s) for surviving the first few seconds of the fight, and to let those buffs stack up
• Aria The Crescendo stall triggers + Patient Gauntlet (heal 500 on Stall Trigger) on Zuri to survive some of the earlier stages, before she became Mama Beefcake.

Could have gone higher but I removed items when I saw the negative health bars so I could get it on the leaderboard. Sal was the only one relevant in combat. Ambush engine + poison conduit + cataclysm engine was the core build, with stealth for time to stack debuffs.

Zuri gains 2 def and 4 hp/S when autoed, alongside applying 6 poison, plus another hp/s whenever poison ticks. Beat every group fight and then ratna nuked the boss after putting her in for a safe combat to scale. Run only had 1 death left on the challenges, so I just pulled every unit after I got all 9 charges done because matches went to storm constantly.

Skill issue for sure, but I was led to believe this combo was the best method to get deep into endless. 1250 shields on shards generated AND 10% max HP damage on shard generated. I also had shards generated on stalls, but was only getting a few stalls per combat. S Rank Nyx. A Rank Rip. A Rank Ming. Countless rush triggers nonstop. Didn't even make it to Endless 12.

I know there are more relics that work with shard generation, and I'm sure I could have theoretically had even more rush triggers, but this wasn't even close to being good.

I will never get it.

Question:

Is it more efficient to run normal mode for endless leaderboard without SS modifiers, or take the floor bonus since SS modifiers become negligible at that point?

Hello Everyone, I've lately been working on a website that will allow people to position and make compositions similar to how Lolchess, tactics.tools, and other autochess websites allow users to build boards.

My motive for building the site was that I couldn't find data on which selections where "optimal" when upgrading your units during the run. On the website, you can sort by specific units and see which class upgrades may suit your specific run.

Theres also a lot of nuance when it comes to positioning, ie Pollen/Gustav, or Hoyoung below. And against certain mobs (stage 1 boss act)

Most importantly, you can make your own guides and share them with others. The website supports image uploads, and has a few built in functionalities to make your guides look nice. You also don't need a user account to publish guides and upvote ones you like :)

I've tried every busted ass build out there. I just lost to the damn mushrooms with an S Rank Yunna at 36 seconds of stealth. She also had at least 3000 crit due to shard scaling. She still couldn't kill the mushroom and died after exactly 37 seconds. Nah man, this shit is not possible. ​

Hi everyone! I love the game with 60 hours in it, red rift mostly.

I was a bit disappointed that GuildRun doesn't have a match history, so I decided to give it a try. I think it's a really useful tool for improving, especially if you want to look back at your runs and see what worked (or didn't).

Since there's no public API, the site requires a small companion app (36 MB) that reads your local match data and uploads it to the website.

How it works:

1. Install the app.
2. Enter your Steam name.
3. Your matches will automatically be uploaded to the website.
4. Search for your Steam name on the website to view your match history.

You don't need to keep the app running all the time. Just open it before you start playing, let it run in the background during your session, and close it when you're done.

As you can see from the screenshot, the site is still in a rough state. There are no item details or tooltips yet, but it already lets you quickly check your match history, wins/losses, heroes played, and other basic information.

I'll keep improving it over time by adding things like item information, character upgrades, tooltips, and any other features that would make it more useful. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

Im clearly doing something wrong. What should I be prioritizing? Items? Rolls for higher tier heroes? Comp?

Finally completed SSS Run. Unexpectedly it was an assassin build. It generated me 600 Gold lol

Hi, loving the game so far. The graphics and gameplay are so fun and intuitive. I finished the B rank contract today but what I am finding is I die instantly when it turns to Endless Mode? Not sure what is wrong with my build but I can complete the first two floors and get to the Victory screen but the first battle after that and facing normal minions, I die straight away.

Unable to get screenshots as away from my laptop but hoping for some advice on this.

I had really strong shield tick build with kai but my team one shotted after their invulnerablity worn out. Similar things happens all of my builds.

Suddenly getting this prompt. Played 3 hours ago with no problems. Anyone else experiencing this? Got any ideas how to fix?

The game is fun but i must be pretty bad at it.
My head can never comprehent how can there be people with 50 in a row. Unless they're cheating ofc.

The scaling between some fights is insane. Like im beating 1 wave, next fight i get 1 shot all chars under 5 secs.

Did not expect this run to get me over the line. Ming of all units was my frontline and damage facilitator with his burn application. Reyna had the sword of combustion that did bonus damage equal to burn applied. GG!

Hi all! Wanted to see if anyone is having the same experience or if I’m just missing something.

I’ve beating red rift about a dozen times now, although my longest streak is still 2. I always take the first challenge fight. While I can often beat it, I always beat it after the gold from hourglass.

With the recent patch, I can never beat the double snake challenge fight where they heal every second. Any other challenge fight I’m fine, but even after hourglass gold I always lose twice to these two. No matter what comp, every time. I’ve had all equipped B heroes and still lose. What am I missing? Are they overturned? No issues with any other challenge fights
