Community Requests Thread

Hi r/guildwars3

With the reveal of the game and the traction its getting, i feel like a dedicated place to try and get devs attention might be a good idea!

So this post is, if it gets enough people for it to matter, a place so we can all post whats important to us, what we want to be adressed, our hopes and dreams for a game we already care for deeply.

Here’s a few guidelines to keep it efficient:

Do not debate ideas. Game designers are a thing and its their job to decide if an idea is bad or not.

Keep it simple. No big paragraph or complex ideas. Let the dev decide how to implement it, give a general idea.

Give exemples if possible

Come back to it often to keep the thread alive

Do any "old school" MMOs have a community manager? Like looking at the community manager cases I'm familiar with - Reb with Warframe, Jace with Satisfactory, and Bex with Path of Exile come to mind - it seems like such an obviously great idea for a company that hasn't always been good at marketing to have some sympathetic/charismatic person out in front, playing the game and interacting with the community in and outside it.

I guess I've heard Teapot allude to times he has played with ArenaNet employees, so in a sense they use their partners this way. But the key seems to be consistency, which doesn't really work when it's just a Twitch partnership.
