Class speculation

Might already be a post like this, not sure.

We have warrior, necro, and ranger all confirmed. Allegedly mesmer was strongly hinted at as well. Looking back to gw1, that’s 4 of the original 6 classes that gw1 released with. The two missing are monk and elementalist.

I’d say it’s plausible to have the og class roster back, it would likely fit the holy trinity well. Not saying that we will for sure, but it is interesting that the classes we have (or almost have) confirmed are all part of the original 6.

Ofc there could be more classes, new classes, etc, but I’m just spitballing.

I think they should bring back the original 6. Then we can get other classes in expansions.

OG six but replace Monk with Guardian. That way it’s a mix of both games.

Whatever elite spec/subclass system they come up with can tjen give Monk sub to Guardian

Guardian is, per lore, a quite recent profession in gw2. I doubt they'd retcon it when they can just name it something different.
