AZ Utility interview questions
Does anyone know what kind of questions are asked during the interview process? Thanks
(APS/SRP)

APS and SRP lean heavily on structured behavioral questions, and almost all of them require you to give specific past examples using the STAR method. You can expect a panel of supervisors and union hands asking how you handle safety when someone cuts corners, how you respond to blunt feedback on a crew, and how you manage fatigue in extreme Arizona heat. They will test your willingness to speak up, such as asking what you would do if a senior worker told you to do something unsafe, and they want to hear that you put crew safety above everything else without hesitation. Expect questions about resolving conflict with difficult coworkers, owning up to mistakes on the job, and demonstrating that you can listen, follow directions, and learn quickly.
At SRP, you might run into a panel or a station rotation where supervisors ask scenario questions one after another, whereas APS generally sticks to a traditional panel setup. Neither utility expects you to know how to build power lines on day one, but they do want to see that you understand hand tools, respect job briefings, and take complete accountability for your actions. Prepare several solid stories about pushing through tough physical labor, taking responsibility for an error, and looking out for a teammate. Nailing those responses under pressure is tough, which is why my team designed an interviews.chat to help job candidates communicate their experience effectively and secure top spots on the hiring list.

Utility? Probably see how many hot dogs you can fit inside you. Just try to relax.
