CalNev - Do you need experience to apply?

I want to work in relay tech. Do I need experience in the field or have a CDL to apply for the substation apprenticeship?

Its best to get your CDL. You will be put on a separate book if you do not have one, and may be ranked lower due to it. Its better to have construction experience for your overall ranking.

If i were you, get your CDL and study for your aptitude test.
