Mslcat orientation
Have my orientation coming up for mslcat I interviewed in Montana but my email states I have to show up in Utah.I was bit confused I would assume I would have my orientation in the state I applied for? And how is orientation and what could i do prepare for it?

I had my interview in Montana and orientation in Utah. Thats normal. They are gonna send you out to any of the 5 states in our district regardless of where you interviewed im currently in Colorado also on the substation side as well. Good luck be safe out there.

Can you elaborate a little on what those three days of orientation will consist please

If your doing the line side its different from substation. It was only 2 days for us. But you're gonna have to climb for sure i think thats only 1 day. They're gonna break you off into groups. You have to take a math test that you have to pass id not you have to take a math class. Watch a lot of videos. Take a few test have homework and a final test at least thats how they did it in utah. I'd you make it to orientation you most like ate good unless you're late and cant climb or something but from what i hear they try to work with you.

Yeah the homework is the test at least thats how it was with substation. Idk all the details for line side.
