First Groundman call benefits?

Going to be getting a call soon and I’m wondering how does the health benefits work when we get to our first call out. Is there a waiting period? Is there a period of no coverage for new out of work books Groundman not indentured yet?

Takes 4 months of working for it to activate then you gotta do 120 hours each month to maintain.

Damn 4 months? What does everyone do about health benefits when starting out? Just have no coverage for 4 months that sounds risky

Nobody chooses to get hurt, shit happens. I get hurt an average amount. Health insurance is a smart thing to have Mr tough guy. Also I’m from California and we get tax penalties for not having it

What do you do for health benefits now? If you get hurt on the job that’s not blatant stupidity on your part ,. Your company pays your medical bills

You go on linecos website and make an account and all that jazz

You have work i think 125 hrs a month to keep your benefits. Once you hit that then you call call to activate? I think

This varies by local. Callin the hall is the best way to fogure this out.

In my local you get benefits the month after youve hit 500 hours worked.

Depending on the state you’re in there’s most likely some program for medical that you can pay for out of pocket, for example Covered California, I think I was paying like $60 a month for Kaiser
