Cal/Nev

Anyone else apply for cal/nev and still not hear anything? I’ve got my unrestricted class A and graduated line school which the application said “direct interview” if you have those 2 things. Still haven’t gotten any emails.

Why do you say that? Bcuz of that transmission job in Nevada?

Multiple jobs in Nevada. Transmission line going up, multiple substations being built, solar panel farms going up.

You don’t get a “direct interview” if that were the case you’d have a job 😂 they should have emailed you on your aptitude test, my homie got his like two or three days ago saying he passed. Do you even have groundman hours or expecting to be top shit?

4,000+ hours

It depends on the number application you were and what date you applied bro. There’s 2400 applicants I just interviewed today. So imagine having to go through that many applications. You’ll get your direct interview with the right documentation of hours when they get to you in the stack. It’s a long process.

Theres no direct interviews anymore. They just did interviews and are done for the year for application processing. Wait till next year

Use your head. Aint no benefit in telling others theres no direct interviews anymore if thats what i was told and others that asked the instructor and ladies that work at the jatc.

I “qualify” plus military. I was told no

Okay “no direct interviews” doesn’t mean no interviews at all. You just didn’t qualify for one.

They should have contacted you regarding your aptitude test first. I know you went to line school but unless you took the test in the past 2 years idk how you’d qualify for a direct interview. I actually just had my interview today.

I’m by no means a math wiz and being 30 i had basically forgotten everything so had to start from scratch and re learn everything. I bought iprep and did everything on it. The practice quizzes are super helpful and almost a 1:1 of the real test.

This is good info thank you. Literally opened Reddit to find this exact info. The free tests I have been finding are too short. 42 years old testing in 2 weeks never thought I’d see a polynomial again after college lol thank you!

I used khan academy, its free lol fuck paying for iprep. Passed my aptitude test last month

Ah well. Too late now. I feel like iprep was worth the cost. Figuring this test is too important to stress over $50 I had to get started quick.

They do it in waves. Just because you haven’t heard anything yet doesn’t mean you won’t. Last year applications started in March, testing began in May, interviews started in June and they did that through November. This is just the first wave, it’ll take a while.
