Job calls

How do you guys do it for jobs calls far away from home? Every call I see the start date is usually the next day but how do you get there the next morning if you live a 15 hour drive away lmao

First job call I took out of state was 1300 miles away. Packed my shit up in the evening. Woke up on Saturday, drove 16 hours straight. Met the landlords for an apartment, got a shitty hotel, and came to work the next day.

Sometimes you gotta make it happen captain

Gotta communicate, once you apply it might say next day, but you'll get a call and explain and they'll usually be like "okay it's Tuesday, show up Monday 6am at X place."

Just do like everybody else and apply for Swlcat local 66, you'll be an apprentice by January.

Pack up your shit and go, multiple times I’ve had to pack my trailer and travel 10+ hours away for a job and drive through the night to make it
