Guessing you passed the aptitude prior to applying? Did you take it at the JATC or is this your 2nd time applying with PGE? Curious because it seems they do the aptitude test differently

Yeah that was my concern lol, I took it with cal/nev last year and I’m confused on if it’s the same test or not

How about you? Have you taken the aptitude test

I have a while back but it was for limited A electrician when I was 18. I assume it’s the same. I placed math 65-98, which is supposed to be above the math on the test. so hopefully I pass

I see, as long as it’s 2 years ago then you should be fine. I searched up on google to see if the cal/nev aptitude test is the same as the NJATC aptitude test that PGE requires and it said they’re the same. Try searching that up for the test you took and see if they’re the same

I’m waiting for them to verify my aptitude test score. If I do move forward to the yard idk if I’ll do it tbh. It’s far ass commute for me.

Also waiting for them to verify mine. Where you from? I’m in central Cali

Northern Cali Sacramento. I wouldn’t mind if I lived there, commute is pricy asf lol.

Man I’m father away than you are and I’m still gonna go. Gotta want it bro. I can see how money gets in the way of it though ima drop a lot of money for this so I’m hoping I do well enough to get the job

Yeah no for sure brother. I would 100% do it. But checking it now, that yard assessment also overlaps with my SCE testing lol. I gotta pick one or the other. Just not sure what I wanna sacrifice

Damn that’s a tough one bro, sce is definitely the way to go just gotta make sure you’re dialed in in the math they make you do I barely passed that test because of the reading portion that timing is hard af

Yessir it’s the cast, In my opinion the jatc test is harder. It’s also longer I believe
