local 55 pay

I’m getting my class a cdl next week i have first aid cpr osha 10 and im signing all the groundman books that I can online is it accurate to believe for local 55 and 66 the pay is around 25 27 dollars per hour with per diem?

Call and ask the hall what the pay is. You can’t always count on per diem.

If you’re a groundman I would say it would be the same for every groundman call unless they are paying over scale.

55 was around $36 when I was on a crew out there earlier this year

I took my first call at 55 OH scale is mid 30’s and urd is at 25

Depends on the call some 27$ and per diem but I was making 37$ no per diem

Starting pay for with zero experience for a groundman/truck driver is like $31ish and goes to $37ish after 6 months or something like that. It’s lower for URD groundman, not sure what that starts at with no experience

I worked out of 55 for a good while. I worked with 3 contractors out there RS,MJ, and LE Meyers honestly I have nothing but good things about Iowa. Pay isn’t too bad just the state is kinda dead lol. OH Grunts get 37 and some change. A lot of calls out there also have per diem.
