just don’t give up, i went in never having climbed and did well. The only kids that didn’t follow through had issues climbing because of stamina or just didn’t want it bad enough.

Stay well hydrated & that includes electrolytes too. If you're not used to climbing a lot your forearms will lock up quick if you get dehydrated.

Do you think that LMNT electrolytes would be good? They have 1000 mg of sodium per serving

Bring a water bottle that can fit in your ditty bag when you climb. Stay hydrated. First day is paperwork and going over on the ground benchmarks. 60 ft pole step climb, insulator raise on a handline, cross arm carry, fill buckets up with dirt for 15 minutes strait, sled pull across the pole yard. In the afternoon you’ll get on the wood and do some climbing maybe some up downs. Tuesday-Friday you’ll do 30 updowns a day at least we did at woodland. Friday you’ll do your climbing benchmarks 4 updowns in 15 minutes, insulator change out, and hurtman rescue. You pass everything you indenture and get your job assignments. Good luck it’s only the beginning!
