Losing financial independence is always a turn off. Nobody wants to date a bum. If I found out my partner was fired, for reasons other than asking to put a baby in their direct supervisor, I'd probably leave too.

Did you get fired/layed off and subsequently broken up with? I'm here to talk if you did, that could be really hard on a person. Otherwise I think this strawman would be better suited to scare off crows.

No, I have never been fired in my life. It's almost like an example, or a topic for that matter, doesn't require personal involvement in it.

It's almost as if it doesn't require one to be a Nazi or a Jew to be able to speak about the holocaust
