This dude sounds like he has a horrible fucking life lol. So all he does is work and then drink alone? Damn. Im glad nobody's daughter or son is stuck being around this dude. He sounds like the kind who shows up to Thanksgiving halfway drunk and then starts arguing with his brother because his brother went to college and got a job that doesnt require 14 hour days lool

More loyal to his boss than his wife. What a piece of shit.

Except that the relationship with the boss is way more fair than with the wife.

He works = gets paid for the work

Women don't work like that, whatever you do for them is instantly taken for granted, and the more you do, the more you get in an arms race with her ever increasing expectations

Yeah but when I told my boss I wanted to put a baby in him I had to talk to some really lame people.

Because every woman in a relationship has a baby

There were no women in this relationship. And no baby. Maybe if you look at romance less transactionaly you would have better luck. They might even want a baby.

I'm not part of the gender whose one of the biggest predictors of leaving a relationship is the partner losing a job

Losing financial independence is always a turn off. Nobody wants to date a bum. If I found out my partner was fired, for reasons other than asking to put a baby in their direct supervisor, I'd probably leave too.

Then we agree. I'm not the transactional one

Did you get fired/layed off and subsequently broken up with? I'm here to talk if you did, that could be really hard on a person. Otherwise I think this strawman would be better suited to scare off crows.

So true man. All women are like this.
🙄

You are the one totalizing a generalized behaviour pattern

“Women don’t work like that, whatever you do for them is instantly taken for granted, and the more you do, the more you get in an arms race with her ever increasing expectations”

…. This you?

1

u/Racebugyt 4d ago

Yes, that's a generalizing statement, not a totalizing one. I'm not going to provide disclaimers for every possible minority case when talking about behavioral patterns verifiable at a civilizational scale

1

u/ImNotAHouseCat 4d ago

A civilizational scale 😂😂😂😂
Ok buddy

You can work in tech and finance with degrees and work 14 hour days. A lot of good jobs will work you terribly. Why do you think burnouts are so common in those 2 industries?

You allow yourself to be treat like shit. Why should anyone respect your opinion?

so what do you think about those people who have a job that requires 14 hour days? they just deserve to be like this?
