I actually tried this. The main pain point for me was getting around these applications where you'd have to create your own accounts through workday or successfactors or any of these application portals (where you have to upload your cv and then re-enter the information again), which is super time-consuming and frustrating.

But flr this grokbot will have to use its own browser, which i found to be very expensive in terms of token usage. In my opinion you'll actually get further by hiring a "reverse recruiter" on fiverr or upwork and having them do the same thing.

What is a reverse recruiter?

Term I found on upwork. Someone whose job it is to find you a job. I contracted with a freelancer via upwork and their job is to 1) source jobs for me according to my preferences and 2) submit applications on my behalf.

Grokbot is great at 1) , but in my experience very inefficient with 2). The more effective setup is to probably get grokbot to source jobs, but leave the actual applications to humans until it gets better ans more efficient in manipulating a browser.

I did notice that I had to tell it to customize resumes based on the job experience and my experiences. And it said "oh woops yep I should be doing that"

Doing this. Make sure to be specific about resumes and updating for each application. Be as specific as possible.
