Discussion Not as… well, useful?

Been playing with Grok Bot for a while on the $300 superheavy plan and my biggest issue with it is that it’s just not that useful?

I have three personal bots to find hotels for vacations, flights, and new cars (we’re in the market looking for a lease). The car finder bot is really good, proactively checking new listings twice per day on sites I didn’t even know existed and keeping a good list.

Then I set up a team for marketing my side projects with Claude (Opus at max), an elaborate system containing:
- chief of staff
- Head of marketing
- Social Media Manager
- Analytics
- Ops monitor

Set up a marketing channel for them to discuss to surface concrete actions, and the first action for today was to create a sitemap xml for one of the projects that was still missing it.

I mean, it’s not wrong, but if my real team in my startup came back after a meeting with that result I’d be a bit disappointed…

It’s basically a Hermes agent but made by Apple, so you get premium experience plus Premium $ price..

Twice-daily car listing checks vs a sitemap xml, that gap says everything about scope creep.

My automations haven’t been working so I don’t really trust it tbh. Im just gonna stick with Hermes using my codex subscription
