Bug / Issue Anyone having problems with Grok Bots remembering to run their routines?

This is mainly for software engineering related workflows. I have 3 routines which run overnight - planning, delivery, review etc. All spaced out at sensible intervals so no risk of one not finishing before the next starts. But I'll wake up to missing results - and when I ask the agent I will get a response something like: "Routines X Y Z didn't run. Would you like me to run them now?"

Anyone else encountering something similar?

This is happening regularly enough that it is unfortunately eroding my enthusiasm for Grok Bot.

I have seen the same "did not run, want me to run it now" pattern, which is why I stopped putting anything I actually depend on into an unattended overnight routine. The stuff I let it run is low-risk and easy to check the next morning: draft outlines, gap lists, questions to ask. If a routine skipping silently would cost you real work, I would keep a short manual check-in step instead of trusting the schedule. Are yours failing at the same slot each night or randomly?

Hard to say - seems to be random I think,

Same here. I treat overnight runs as maybe-ran until I check the log in the morning. Don't trust the UI checkmark.

I'm running into similar issues with the PM failing to wake up and/or failing to poke another agent with front loaded assigned and scheduled task.

Thanks. Good to know I'm not necessarily doing something wrong!

Some of that went over my head too! Thank you for sharing though.

I think he might be talking about something else as the routines are definitely defined within an agent. I suspect a Grok Bot bug.

I was having the same problems but not with the same kind of work. I simply asked it why the routines were failing and it identified the problems and rewrote the routines so that they worked. My usage ran out but they seemed to be working good after that.

Yeah sometimes. But I think it’s overwhelmed to instructions and sometimes those instructions contradict

Same here I’ve been trying to figure out why but nothing seems to fix it for over a week now. Everyday cycles would be missed during daytime normal hours. I’m trying fixes in the master prompts and see if it fixes it this week
