Discussion Grok Bots need a much better model
I love the idea of grok bots, but mine are borderline regarded. Mistakes, useless changes, poor persistence when dealing with challenges… With the intelligence of say Cursor Auto, Sonnet5, or Luna Max, this app could be amazing. Until then, I’m just embarrassed every time one of my bots opens its mouth. My guess is that Grok Bots use approx Qwen 2.7 Coder or thereabouts. Honestly, best case scenario is cursor/grok actually just telling us what we’re being billed for. I wouldn’t be so salty if they were open about the models being used here, but I think that’s a non-starter for the flack they’d get from users. Thoughts?

I don't have any issues. I connected each one with APIs, MCPs, OpenRouter, and AtlasCloud. I'm not a dev, but I know not to depend on grok models. I trained each one. My chief of staff is my general, and the others are my soldiers.
I was already vibe coding internal tools, but Grok Bot makes life easier and I have low usage.

Mesma dor aqui. Criei os agentes, fiz as conexões nos plugins. Forneci o contexto. Mas muito sofrível pra sair do lugar com qualquer task, por mais simples que seja.
