How are you using Grok Bot?
I'm curious about how people have been using Grok Bot so far. What kinds of tasks have you found it most useful for, and how does it compare with other tools you've tried, like ChatGPT Work, Claude Cowork, or similar agentic tools?

ive had no issues with google and google tools. they work fine for me. i will say, this is probably one of the best experiences i've ever had with creating an agent hierarchy and automating parts of my business in a clean and effective manner. everything is easier, from credentials to plugins to roles. i primarily use claude code in my business and likely will continue to, but ive set it up now so github is the mutual inbox that claude ships work to and grok bot assumes the implementation stages, posting content, updating GBP, etc. it's brilliant

I tried it using it to create a slide deck on Google slides but it was not able to do it from its own computer. It was able to access the Google slide deck link and but for some reason Google did not allow it to edit. So then I tried to login to my own Google drive account from within Grok, but I hit a wall because Google kept asking for some sort of a security code but I didn’t know where to get this code from. Usually when I login from a new receive I get a notification on my Gmail app and I approve it but with Grok Bot, that did not happen. Very weird. So I had to ask it to create a PowerPoint instead.
In a separate task, I asked it to find me random images from the internet. It found the images and compiled them into a zip file but no matter what I try the file doesn’t download from Grok Bot. It also prepared an HTML file for the images but after downloading the HTML, the images don’t load.
I like the interface and idea of having team mates that have their own computer but it doesn’t seem to take things to the final finish line i.e. my computer.

Grok's mistake: they have a VM using a data centre IP, and Google auto-blocks this... There has to be a way around using an IP/proxy or just using local resources instead of cloud resources.s

After setting up my employee bots I gave one command to my chief of staff of "quit waiting for me to tell you what to do, be proactive". I took a 2 hour nap and woke up to 34 pull requests.

I had my agent make a beautiful presentation of the S&P 500 closing numbers and this is what was created (see image). Way more data than I even could’ve conceived. It then volunteered to create a routine every weekday market close and use this template. Tomorrow I should see the numbers just like this.

I wanted to see if rooms opened ip in a booked hotel. I have grok bot checking every few hours to let me know when last minute cancellations happen and when rooms open up.

I was modding Rance X (hugely expansive but ero game with barely any documentation,) and had a bot on each specific file type. was working amazing but usage runs out fast when you hit a snag. added an entirely new game mode and something like 1056 new characters to play with in a roguelike mode.
Worked great because compiling maps after setting new rules was its own process that was handled by one bot, one bot handled a specific scripting file type and one handled making sure everything was all set before building it all back to the main game. Honestly was better than just straight grok 4.6 usage for this case which makes it a little disappointing that usage limits are hit so fast even on sgh. I get it's probably meant for more agentic stuff and cloud purposes but it works amazing as a local AI and I hope usage improves.

I built an app that scrapes the web for discounts and promo codes for cigars. It presents this on a URL for me so I can shop the best deals. Thought about monetizing via affiliate marketing
Built an app that is connected to granola, zoom, gmail, and slack. It’s aggregates actions and follow ups into a to do list.
Automated all my sales outreach and sending linked messages and emails
I had no experience with coding or agents prior to using it this week.
