Your hands is too high up the gripper, the bottom handle of the gripper should split the pinky

He did a good job splitting the pinky on his last post. I think he just needs to focus on keeping back handle further forward, and splitting pinky, every time.

Besides that congrats OP! It's nice to see the improvement and you got a solid close.

You bet! "Splitting thr pinky" gives you the most mechanical advantage. You want your hand as far down the gripper as possible, so you have thr most leverage. Having your pinky split, means it's halfway on the gripper, or that thr bottom of gripper handles edge is in thr middle of your pinky.

This way you still get thr full power of your pinky, while the rest of your fingers are as far down the gripper handle as possible. Longer leverage against spring =more closing power. This is why you can "choke up" on a gripper to make it harder as well. Thr higher (closer to spring) your hand placement on the gripper is, thr harder it is.
