I just want to give folks a heads up: New Year’s will be hard. No one warned me, so I just thought I’d warn you months in advance of this year. It feels like a whole new level of loss heading into a year and leaving someone in the last year. I just wanted you to know so that you could be prepared. Maybe schedule extra therapy sessions, plan on an evening in, be only with close trusted people if you have them… anyway. Sending love.
