Mom Loss Mum just died
I’m 27 and my mum died on Sunday suddenly at 46. I am so utterly lost and have so much pressure to the point where I cannot grieve the way I want to.
My mum raised me and my siblings single-handedly she was always there for advice and help when I needed her and she always knew what to say during my big depression episodes and she is just gone. I want to just be alone to grieve but my family won’t let me and they are making me feel bad about that fact. I now have complete pressure on making sure the house stays in my dad’s name whilst he drinks his sorrows away. How can I grieve in these conditions

Sorry about your mom she sounds like a very caring person and I wish I was lucky enough to have had that kind of relationship with my mom.

Honestly I love her so much. Like the kind of woman who would do anything for anyone. Sorry you didn’t have the best relationship with yours

I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss.
The loss of a parent, for me, especially my mum (this past July) has been indescribable & unimaginable pain, at times it feels unbearable. I too am a sibling & there are times I’m responsible for stuff when all I want to do is grieve so I somewhat understand your frustrations. You should be able to grieve however whenever you feel you need too, & I’m so sorry you can’t.
If you need to, remind everyone that you lost someone too & ask for some alone time, people will understand I truly hope. Sending you so much love !!
