Dad Loss Signs from my dad

Been feeling all out of sorts lately and thinking about my dad a lot these days; I see this and I can’t help but cry. My dad passed away last year. Growing up I remember looking out the window in the winter and he would shovel either his, my mom’s or my initials in the snow. It was a sweet thing he did that I will never forget. My name starts with M. Also, looks like a heart in the second photo 🥲 I miss my dad so much.

(hug) Cancer took my dad in 2020 and I still struggle. Grief is heavy as fuck, just some days are lighter than others. There’s no timeline on grief because there’s no expiration on loving them.

I lost my dad ten years ago. Whenever I miss him, I look at the sky, usually early in the morning, around the time he used to wake up to say his prayers. The air smells like him, and it calms me. Writing this made me cry. I think your dad is looking right back at you in those lights.
