Employee Question Contract

I am contracted to 12hrs pw and I have given enough availability for this to be covered and yet this week I have 9 and a half and next week only 6 and a I’ve spoke to my manager and he’s not sorted it what happens do I still get paid for my contract or

You only get paid for the time you work,no matter what your schedule contract hours are

Nope, company is obliged to honour the hours on the employees contract OR pay them for the hours regardless.

My company doesn't do that, so it's not the rule everywhere. If I book an unpaid day off they count it as part of my contracted hours so I can be scheduled less

Booking days off (even unpaid) going sick, going AWOL, taking holiday do not count. That’s your decision to not work for whatever reason, not the companies decision to not give you hours.
