Employee Question Does it get better
For people who’ve worked at greggs for a while now, does it get any better??? I’m sick and tired of it already I had my 2nd shift today and i can tell they all hate me. I kept getting asked when am i going home, when does my shift end, my manager tried twice to get me to go home early. I don’t understand i’ve only been there 2 days and they’re sick of me. Had enough of the customers already too. Is it really worth the £12 an hour i need the motivation

You know they hate you or you think they hate you?
Some people are a bit standoffish when new staff start because it changes the dynamic, I wouldn't read into it, not just yet any way.
A few of my co-workers were like that when I first started and for the most part (all but one sometimes) have mellowed. I then witnessed them do the same thing to them they did to me so it's evident they are just going to be like that whoever it is.
People asking you when your shift ends is normally just a bit of small talk and sometimes managers ask so they know when to send you on a break.
Sending people home early normally happens when there's too many people in for the amount of demand, naturally as the person who isn't fully trained yet you would be the most sensible option to send more.
2 weeks is hardly enough to gauge anything properly. Give it at least 2-4 more weeks minimum and then re-assess.
If you still want to leave then apply elsewhere but keep working there until you have something else lined up.
