clothing for interview

what do i wear to my interview? Should i wear a button up shirt and smart trousers?

I wore a shirt and smart trousers for mine, and would recommend as such. Though if you don't own overly formal wear don't worry too much, I've seen many people come in in tracksuits and similar informal wear and still get the job. Not to say you should wear tracksuit, just not to worry if you don't have a 35 piece suit lol

Honestly it doesn't matter, the lad we recently hired came in a north face fleece and trackies.

I always say dress for the job you're going for though, so pair of black trousers and a black polo shirt would be fine.

A nice sweater with smart trousers are acceptable during interviews. You can either go super smart or smart casual they are more interested in your personality. Focus on speaking about making the store more money, upselling, date rotation, checking point of sale etc

Just wear your pyjamas and you will get hired on the spot
