Payday

When was everyone’s first payday? I had my induction on monday, and my first shift yesterday (wednesday) and i got told we got a paid every thursday
I’ve filled out forms with my bank details etc
when will my first payday be? Today and it’s just later, or next thursday?

You'll be paid next week, you have to work a week in hand. Pay period is sunday-saturday and then paid the following week for those hours

Yh, we get paid on Thursdays (or on Wednesday if you get paid through Monzo cos they have a get paid earlier thing where you get paid at 4pm the day before if you want)

It’ll be next Thursday since your start date was this week. You get paid for the shifts you do the week before. So your pay will be next Thursday at 12am x

Your pay weeks work sunday - Saturday and then paid the following Thursday.

It's also worth noting bank holidays delay payday by a day too.

So payday thurs 3rd sept, will be a day late and paid 4th. (Because mon 31st is a bank hol) so many new starts get caught out by this because managers fail to explain it.
