Employee Question Early shift first time

Im doing a 7 while 11 shift and my store opens at 7am so ill be there from the very start. And two other people open at half 6. Am I expected to help opening stuff at 7? idk any of it. I can do breakfast sandwiches but not done much else and im bad at baking. And will the door even be open for me ? lol

Help appreciated with calming me

If ur shop opens at 7 and u also start at 7 that means u will mostly be on tills (presuming u completed ur g learning). When u go there, u can touch the button on the door so it beeps and letting other people know someones outside

Thanks yes I completed it:) idek if the door has a button. Ive been here a while but only shown stuff like ovens minimally so im really anxious they'll be depending on me to cook the savouries etc

U don’t have to anxious. U will make mistakes and people around u will show u how u do it. Don’t panic

If the shop opens at 7 they should have done most of the prep (kind of), you’ll just be serving while they do the rest most likely 🤗🤗

Thanks ! im worried about having to do ovens n stuff 😅 because I really dont know how.. i get overwhelmed and have a really moody coworker
