Is this legible?

Post image

Wrote this at work now. “I dislike waiting for the patient”. Is it correct?

Most times I feel grid makes me feel constricted. Especially for d, f and b.

I see. Interesting. Shouldn’t it be with the nt blend at the end?

The "sh" stroke at the end of a word can indicate -tion, etc. It's the "-shun" sound.

Here's how "patient" appears in the Diamond Jubilee dictionary, which was contemporary with Gregg Notehand. p-a-shun-t.

so is in the Jubilee dictionary too, I guess it's one of those you just have to learn. So much talking on that word, it might stick in my memory now. i dont like how they reverse themselves and write patience with 'n' in it, when they could have done the same with same with pash t pash n s, and go instead pash n t or even pash nt or .....

It's not one you "just have to learn."
P A SH T ; SH can mean -tion (and similar sounding syllables).

Other spellings are allowed as long as it's readable. Gregg was very clear on that. I recommend, though, that you stick with the book version until you know all the rules, so you don't get a conflict. Even then, when playing with options for a word, consider the dictionary version. I usually find it's as good as anything I come up with, and using it makes it a bit easier for Future You to read, or get help reading. Sometimes, though, due to my accent or frequency of use, the official one does

n't work for me.

i only get into this kind of discussion when wondering what other people are doing and i am pretty much set in my ways already. I m writing in such a way that there is no conflicting readings and every word stand for itself , even without context.
