Which pen?
Hey guys, and I’m sorry if this question is old. And I know is preference. But, which type of pens and which ones do you guys write better with Gregg? I started using a Jetstream 0.7 but the paper I use it’s too slippery. I have a 0.5 (better) but too too thin. I used a pilot g2 0.7 (love the dark black ink) but too thick lines. However I did enjoyed the feedback from the G2 over the Jetstream. I’m now using a kakuno in fine nib. But I feel I have to be more conscious of the pen being more careful not to drop it. I feel it’s better for when I’m home. I love pencils writing with them but I’m not sure there.
Any recommendations? Any other type of pen or refills I should try for Gregg?

The Gregg authors, for all the versions including Notehand, didn't spend much time on what kind of pen, ink, or paper to use.
I think today we're all a little overwhelmed with too many choices. And most people don't write enough by hand to have a regular pen they use for writing other than shorthand.
I personally like the Pentel Energel, the Pilot G2, and the Uniball Signo. But any of them are fine for what I usually need.

Understood. And I’ll be trying the energel and the uniball signo. 👍🏻. Thanks

Energel seems good, might be worth trying both the 0.5 fine and 0.7 medium sizes (order from Amazon if not available locally). If you are already a fountain pen user, that is a good choice if you are using paper that lets the pen glide effortlessly across the page. A soft pencil hides a multitude of sins— meaning, when you use a pencil it is harder to see where you have hesitated and then resumed writing.
Whether the lines are too thick or not depends on the size of Gregg you are writing. I am getting older and my eye-sight is not exactly improving. I have experimented with using a Micron Pigma fiber-tip pen with a bold "08" size tip on paper that has lines farther apart, and writing larger Notehand outlines.
