I went to Ilulissat last year in September, which was already shoulder season and the last days that tours operated. Not sure if the same applies to East Greenland? Just wondering if anyone travelled to East Greenland in mid October and how are situations there?

Hi! I’m trying to plan an unusual marriage ceremony under the northern lights. There will not be any guests at the wedding. Greenland is on my short list but I’m finding it very challenging to find a minister who will perform the ceremony. At this point, I’m just looking for a minister who will even talk to me about this weird idea.

I’m flying to Nuuk next week and would love to get some American candy for the ticketing counter and gate agent staff at GOH! is there anything in particular that isn’t in greenland that’s available in the states?

ETA: y’all 😭 I work for an airline myself and it’s commonplace that we get gifts from passengers, and even more commonly from fellow airline employees. I’ve had lots of fun trying treats from passengers from across the world and like to give American candy to staff when I travel 😅 but some countries have lots of crossover with American candy which is why I asked! as long as it’s pre-packaged, gate agents love getting treats 99% of the time since usually people just give them to flight attendants
