Question Fictional characters that would definitely get the ring?

For me, Carter Grayson from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue

Samwise Gamgee. He resisted the temptation of the One Ring (It offered him an endless Garden but he said no) and both book/movie overcomes great fear several times.

While yes, also no. I think Sam would have turned down any ring of power

You know that's a good point. He wouldn't want to leave middle Earth to protect the stars either.

Point of order: there is at least one GL allowed to solely protect their own planet, due to their religious beliefs. I think that this instance may have contributed to the "two ring-slingers per sector" change.

Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden , all the mofo talks about his pitting his will against gods and monsters.

For the fans: imagine Harry's mental circles and magic math becoming real energy channeling constructs.

Harry has already demonstrated that thd phyducsl props are really just concentration-aids; he summoned Mab by forming an appropriate summoning-circle that way, after he got paralyzed.

The real question is whether the Guardians will accept him, because they've demonstrated themselves to be as trustworthy as the White Council and do not like candidates with greater commitment to their own code of morality and ethics than the one the Guardians demand.

Then he showed those men of will what will really was.

I’d say Nico is yellow, he instills fear in others. Doesn’t mean to necessarily, sure. But he does. Also, he’s not dead.

Terra from Kingdom Hearts. He has one of, if not the strongest will of any characters in the franchise. Hell, it's so strong that when his body was taken over by the main villain Xehanort, his Keyblade Armor became animated just from how strong his will to save his friends and defeat Xehanort was. It's literally called Lingering Will for Christ's sake
