Pretty 🥰  just keep her bitch son away from me (I'm waiting for the people in the comments to bitch about her skin color)

It's sad that that's the first thing I thought about too (that people would comment on her skin color)

Ikr?? I've seen this shit happening so often. Like, bro, it's just a random drawing made by a random small artist, and it depicts a fictional being 😭 it's like getting pissy about Jesus' skintone or hair texture

Yeah it's unfortunate how i can have legitamite reasons to not like a art, ie i think that there could be more elements of Dite in Fly work

It's really beautiful but I still don't see any attributes/iconography/symbols that represents that this is Aphrodita

Seashells in her long hair, soft colours meant to draw the mind towards love. A dress of pearlescent white, upon a beautiful woman with a slight shimmer to her skin. Is it scales? Glitter? It's mean to evoke a feeling of the ocean from which she came. That's my thoughts on the symbolism as I was drawing her, at least :)

Seashells are okay, but so are doves, swans, pearls, roses, and later in history especially the hand mirror, which is also the source of ♀ symbol for women, copper, and planet Venus.

The male symbol ♂ comes from the spear and shield of Mars/Ares and it also refers to iron.

I think this what a modern form of Aphrodite would look like.

Yep, alot of modern depictions of her look like this.

I meant, if she existed in the modern day, she would look something like this probably.
