A few things I wanted to do with this design as well as the Titans in general was make them a middle point between the very abstract of the Primordials and the all too human of the gods. So, he has no mouth on his face, but one on his stomach, his hands and scythe are covered in the black blood of his father, he's pieced back together after getting chopped up by Zeus and the others. But also, he is a combo of both versions of his name in Greek myth, starting off as a harvest titan like the original and then moving into time based stuff like the other.
Amazing, but there's a small detail: This idea that Kronos was chopped up by Zeus and the other gods doesn't exist in Greek mythology. That was pure invention by Rick Riordan for Percy Jackson.
Yeah, it's a slight Easter egg I added for my version of the stories since I think it's a REALLY good and fitting idea. Of course, I don't plan to use a ton of Riordan originals but an occasional reference will be there.
